Revisiting: Polka Dots

Another one of my favorite themes last year was our Polka Dot week.The unfortunate thing last year, though, was that I only had one Polka Dot item in my wardrobe. But I've corrected this since. On a short trip to the mall, I stopped at Forever 21 and found this pants. It was the last one they had in stock, and it was my size. Meant to be? I think so.

This week I'm off the look of the day. I'm so sorry, but I simply don't have ANYTHING, anything at all that has polka dots, not even a pair of socks. I find it pretty, but I don't know, maybe it doesn't suit me or I was afraid to try. So I went to our sponsors to look for pretty polka dots clothing, and I found this.

Essa semana estou fora do look do dia. Sinto muito mesmo, mas eu não tenha NADA, nadinha, que tenha bolinhas, nem mesmo um parzinho de meias. Eu acho bonito, mas não sei, talvez não fique bem em mim ou eu tinha medo de tentar. Então olhei nossos afiliados pra achar roupas de bolinhas bem bonitas, e olhem o que eu encontrei.

This weekend my friend Jen had a house warming party, and she asked me to come over and set up a photo booth (she had the props, the backdrop, and the lighting!) to get some cool photos from her guests at the party. So I figured: since I'll have all that set up, why not take advantage of it and shoot some pictures for Occupy as well? So here are the first pictures I took all year for Occupy, that were NOT taken outside with natural light.

Esse final de semana rolou uma festa na casa da minha amiga Jen, e ela me pediu para tirar fotos numa photo booth que ela inventou para o evento. Como ela já tinha tudo pronto, incluindo as luzes, eu resolvi aproveitar e tirar as fotos para o post de hoje. E vale lembrar que essas são as primeiras fotos que eu posto aqui que eu não tirei fora de casa com luz natural :P
